Will a 1995 Honda Passport engine fit in any other year models?

Asked by Jul 15, 2013 at 11:22 PM about the 1995 Honda Passport 4 Dr EX 4WD SUV

Question type: General

I have a 1995  Honda Passport 3.2 Liter SOHC 24-Valve V6 4 Speed Automatic 4WD with 108,000 miles in good working condtion.  However, the frame needs to be replaced due to Midwest Winters.  I think the most cost effective option is to find another passport down South- where the frame has not been exposed to harsh winters and exchange the engine.  I would like to expand my search for possible options other than a 1995 model.
Is there a website that will give me this information to research options?

Any ideas?  Thank you

DD

From what I've been able to find is that any vehicle that uses the Isuzu 3.2 engine will interchange, ie Acura, Honda, Isuzu and at one time a Chevy used it, but could not find any real dates in my old stuff. Hope this helps a little.
