*I have the keyless, push button start on the dash, won't start.

A warning light comes on telling me either; key not detected, or not connected,
or not in car. From my manual, I insert key into slot in glove box, then it starts.
When I get to destination, I cannot lock with remote key.

I have had a few friends that have had an issue similar on various vehicles. Try having the battery replaced in your "key" and see if it works, if you haven't already. That solved the issues from the cases I know of.
