Question type: Maintenance & Repair

replaced O2 sensor, need to get the car inspected, system hasnt reset. how
many miles do I have to drive to have it reset?

158,955

The important thing is to keep your gas gauge between three quarters and one quarter full. Then the computer will run the diagnostics and reset the readiness monitors. It should only take two or three days of normal driving. Under Federal Law your Hyundai will pass inspection with one of the readiness monitors not set. Doesn't matter which one is not set, as long as all the others are set. Hope that helps! Jim
