honda odyssey 202 check engine light reset

check engine light went on when car was not fully engaged in drive and will not
go off when restarted...How do you     reset the light?

It will either go out on it's own after a few days of driving or it must be cleared using a scan tool. I'd suggest having the computer scanned at your local auto parts store. Advance or Autozone will do it for free. Post the trouble code(s) here and we can help further. HTH. -Jim

The pains and number of times you need to get codes and reset them by far justify the cost of getting a scan tool. 2 waisted trips to AutoZone instead of going online and buying the needed parts wholesale pays for the scanner. Join the "odyclub.com" for best advise.
