Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the noise the van makes when the van is in motion and the sliding door is open
comes on even tho the doors are closed.  what can that be? it seems to be
draining my battery, or at least that's what i think it's doing.

Had the same issue—door alarm with the battery drain. We replaced the rear Latch motor in the door of one of our power sliding doors that hadn’t been working for some time and it fixed the alarm and the drain. There are tons of forums such as this one that address the issue — https://www.odyclub.com/threads/05- odyssey-parasitic-battery-power-loss-from-7- 5a-7-back-up-fuse.274418/ Good luck! The part from the dealer was about $250 but we got one from a junk yard for $90
