2016 SUBARU OUTBACK BRAKES
INSTALLED NEW PADS & ROTORS THIS WEEKEND ON 2016 OUTBACK. WE
RETRACTED THE REAR PISTONS AS DESCRIBED BY TURNING
CLOCKWISE. ALSO INSTALLED NEW PADS & ROTORS ON FRONT. NOW
EYESIGHT NOT OPERATIONAL, SAYS OFF. ABS LIGHTS ON. E BRAKE NOT
FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. NOW WHAT?
Possible brake adjustment issue. Did you accidentally damage or unplug an ABS sensor?
Turns out on this model you have to use an electronic scan tool to essentially "disengage" the electronic e-brake. If you don't it flips all kinds of alarms and codes. My local Subaru specialist said I had 38 codes.
