What wrong with my vehicle

Asked by 345jeep Nov 08, 2017 at 05:23 AM about the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2016 jeep Cherokee and at 5,000 km my
neighbour hit me while parked on the driver side.
The tire took most of the damage but the bumper
and side panel were hit as well. The shop I took it
to did not do a proper inspection. They just fixed
the exterior. You
When I went to pick up my vehicle from repairs,
they added several dents which they then kept the
crucial to fix. Upon coming back the 3rd time to get
my vehicle someone at the shop added 350km to it
and the passenger rim on the front was bent quiet
badly. So I'm guessing someone went for a joy ride.
You
I then took it to another shop who only fixed the
rim and dent. Now its at 15000 km and the front
driver tire is wearing on the outer side. It sounds
like its rubbing. The gas mileage is terrible.
Suspension is not as tight. The tire rubbing and
noise when turning have gradually gotten worse
along with the gas mileage. It all took a while to
notice.  I've gotten a wheel alignment done but only
the back was out by a hair not the front. Because
its been hit on both sides now I'm worried the
frame is bent. The dealership says it just needs an
up date. What  should I be getting them to look at.
I'm worried I'm stuck with an unsafe vehical one
shop said my front and rear diff could be done, but
the dealership say it just needs an update. This is a
brand new vehicle, my first one and I'm really
worried about constant issues now. I just need too
know what I need them to look at as this is my 7th
time having it in the shop for the initial accident
and its exhausting

Its at the dealership shop now and they are saying its the rear dif.do you have any other suggestions for what they should look for Tim? I really appreciate the help. This has been a total nightmare. I think the frame is bent but I don't know what to make them look at to prove that.

Thank you tom. I have an appt at a 3rd party mechanics to check for that next week.
