Santa Fe 2015 sport, 2.4 litre engine, driver seat heating issues

Asked by Sonny Dec 05, 2019 at 05:40 PM about the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello,
I am having issues with the heated driver seat, not working in my car. The
passenger seat works well and heats up well. All the lights are solid for the
heat on the passenger side whereas the heat indication light "keeps blinking"
on the driver side.

I called the dealership and they want $135 plus tax per hour for diagnostics
and my current unemployment status does not allow me to spend the money.

I would appreciate any help on this.

regards,

Sunny

Most likley a broken wire in the seat cushion heater element.

No. When turning on the car and pushing the seat heat switch, all 3 lights come on, then they turn off after a couple of seconds. They will not come back on again unless I turn the car off and start it again? Same thing happens every time??
