I have a 1971 torino wagon .on the drivers side the rear of the leaf spring has bent the frame it ,the shackle is facing foward. I just bought new springs and they are still almost going to hit the frame with no load on them. shouldnt the shackles be slanted twords the back? thanks for the help
If the frame is bent it needs to be fixed. You probably have rust that has weakened that area.
