Replaced radiator hose now car won’t start

So I had a hole in my radiator hose and couldn’t
find the exact hose I needed to replace it. Long
story short i ended up cutting off the part of the
hose with the hole and connected the two pieces
with another hose on top and clamped it. Before
this my car would run fine and turn on but now it
won’t even turn over and I can’t get very much
power to it. I’ve had it jumped and nothing
happened. I thought maybe my security lock turned
on so I tried using my key fob to lock and unlock it
but now it won’t even sound when I use the fob to
lock it and nothing is happening. Does anyone
know what this might be?
