What is causing my 2015 Honda (new) Battery to drain?

Asked by JR2031 Dec 14, 2018 at 09:12 AM about the 2015 Honda Accord Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2015 Honda battery won't hold charge. The car goes completely dead -
no lights, no turnover over.  I bought a new battery (less than 3 months old),
but I'm still experiencing the same battery drain. The car/battery wont hold
charge and must be jump-started.  Once running, the car can't be turned off
or it must be jumped again.  What else could this be?  I've had no other
problems with the vehicle.

I'm not sure of the voltage. It was a battery recommended for a Honda Accord. Mid-range priced battery with a 1-2 year warranty.
