I have a 2000. Gmc Tahoe this my third time replacing the knock sensors can some body tell me why it's doing that

IT'S NOT the knock sensors, they should last 80,000 miles easy, if it was the same shop every time they are ripping you off. a trouble code is not the problem, its where you start diagnosing. Lot of miles? if the engine is getting noisey the knock sensors will (hear) ticking / rattling, same way they hear preignition (spark knock), and tell the PCM to retard the timing = poor mileage
