I have to disconnect the negative battery cable to be able to turn off the headlights
Headlights worked ok for a time. It was raining hard & they would not go off without me taking the negative cable loose. I have to reconnect to start the engine or wind the windows. This goes on all day, all night. The damn hood must weigh 100 lbs, & this is getting very old. Any advice?
Just the head light switch get bad .
Thanks for your input. It (the headlight switch) operates the dash lights ok, just cant turn off the headlamps. Makin me crazy! Iv just watched the vid about the LCM & I'd bet bux its that module. I will check with Downtown Ford tomorrow!
Also, after watching that video about the 10 best reasons for owning a Crown Vic, I'v changed my mind about pushing it off a cliff! Just lol-- not realy going to do that.
