Why is my horn going off when I use the gas or brake

Wiring issue for sure, most probably due to corrosion. Have a mechanic look it over for you. Electrical problems are hard to find.

Uh o.... did you borrow your car to a mechanic friend? Sounds like they jumped some wires from your throttle position sensor and brake sensor. If not them I would be looking at the wires by the ECU[Ford might call it PCM] probably have some cracked wire insulation or maybe even moisture or corrosion in the wire connections to ECU
