Engine shuts off after a few seconds

I bottomed out and pulled the exhaust loose
just behindb the Y. Reattached and  since
then it shuts off after driving for a few miles

Removing and installing the exhaust should not make your truck shut off. Did you reconnect the o2 sensors? You said you bottomed out, I would check to see if anything was damaged, bent or loose.
