Where can I find a headlight mount/bracket for a 83 el camino ss choo choo

Asked by Apr 16, 2013 at 11:40 AM about the 1983 Chevrolet El Camino SS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm not looking for the head light
bezel ,it's a fiberglass piece that
bolts to the radiator and hold both
driver side headlights in place.

Try searching eBay using "1983 Chevrolet El Camino header". Header panel is the name for the device that holds the headlights. The Malibu might use the same part. -- I see on RockAuto.com that one is listed under Malibu but not under El Camino - they may be different.

82 to 87 elcamino or chevelle will work. Try ebay, elcamino central, ecklers are all places that will have them. Elcamino Central is a forum with many members that some may have used ones for sale.

I went through this on a 85. I got the part off a Monte SS.
