4.3 VS 302

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1985 S-10 Low-rider, the engine I have in it is a tired 2.5, with no mods out there that I can find. Everyone and their uncle has a S-10 with 350 and up in S-10's, nothing is wrong with this, but people are asking me left and right " WHEN ARE YOU GONIG TO DROP A 350 IN THAT THING" frankly I am sick of it. So my Question is: Will a stock 302 be too much for that stock rear-end and what else would I need besides trans, trans mounts, engine mounts, drive shaft.....Or will a 4.3 be easier, will the trans work with it. Borg Warner 4 speed, Thank You Crazy N8
