Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife just inherited her father's Ford ranger.....it
ran great for the first few day... now when she
goes out to start it during the day it acts like it is
flooding out and you have to fight to get it to
run...but if it's at night when it's cool, it will start
and run good.....what could be the problem??????

I have seen a few of these reverse the reading from the ECT sensor. Is the check engine light on or has it been on and turned off now? You may want to pull the codes first just too see if there is anything in the memory.
