Engine from a 1990 ranger to a 1984 Ford ranger will it swap

Can I put an 2.3 liter engine from a 1990
Ford ranger to a 1984 Ford ranger with the
same engine but the 1984 engine is
carburatored and disturbtor while the 1990
is fuel injected and and no disturbtor

Just have to check your wiring harness they have a website for wiring harnesses to change the electrics to where you can use them
