1988 ford f250 truck rums great for about two hours then shuts off, won't start again until it's cold.

Put a new cpu in it new cap and rotor , new
fuel pump, ignition module, tried practically
everything I could think of and still haven't
fixed the problem

Have you replaced the hall effect device in the distributor? You should also check and clean the grounds for the EEC relays, sensor grounds and EEC module grounds.

Ok then dig out your wire brush and ohmmeter and start checking and cleaning your grounds.
