89 ford f250 stalls out and won't start for a while. But then starts right up.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My son had the same problem on his 2001
chevy silverado.
It ended up being the crankshaft position
censor. It would heat up and malfunction.
Replaced and worked fine.
I'm going to replace the one in my f250, and
will let you know if solved problem.
