1981 F250 300 ci i6 transmission choices

I have a 1981 F250 with a 300 cu inline 6. My manual transmission is a 4 speed where 1st is grandma. Is there another manual transmission with overdrive? Right now I'm risking throwing a piston over 70 mph.

You won't throw a piston (as you say) but why drive an old truck over 70 anyway? There aren't any direct replacement manual transmissions that I can find - you could go with an old AOD instead...
