Which transmission came stock in my Truck. I'm told that there is a code in the
Vin # that will tell me, but havent been able to find key to deciphering the
number

RPO CODES IN GLOVE BOX THE KEY IS ON LINE AT DEALER

My 1988 GMC truck transmission fluid is leaking heavy could it be the filter being clogged and need to be changed to stop/prevent the leaks.
