My gas hand on my 88 Rx7 doesn't work and I'm getting this annoying buzzing sound coming from the area around the fuel gage. Whats the deal I have plenty of gas in the tank?

Duff gauge if you ask me, which after 25 years is not really surprising

PROBABLY LOOSE WIRING (CAUSED BY AGE AND SPIRITED DRIVING). CHECK ENGINE HARNESS TO FIX FUTURE STARTING AND RUNNING PROBLEMS. SOLDER CONNECTIONS FROM THE INSTRUMENT PANEL TO THE ECU AND YOU'LL PROBABLY BE A LOT CLOSER TO BEING A ROTARY ENTHUSIAST AGAIN. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY MOTORING
