Keep My 2014 Honda Accord - starter

Asked by DKAustin95 May 04, 2018 at 11:11 AM about the 2014 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looking for advise. My 2014 Honda Accord, bought brand new has 65,000
miles. I have noticed the seats stain very easily and the paint scratches very
easily and the black paint around the windows began oxidating a couple
years ago. Mechanically I had to replace the starter at 57,000 miles and then
had to warranty replace that starter at 63,000 miles. Knocking on the door of
timing belt change and keeping it under 70,000 miles, is this normal for a
Honda? Do I have one that will have future issues? Was expecting better
quality from Honda

You should not have had to replace starter... Save receipt..... and look up information about what is going on with 2014 Honda accord starters. It is wrong that consumers are having to deal with this. I know people they have older Hondas and have not had any problems with their starter.
