won't shift into fist gear

I just took my stealth out of storage. it runs fine but will not go into first gear.

sounds like you might have a solenoid bad in the tranny. Will need to drop the pan to replace part. have to car hooked up and more then likely a code is stored in the computer to confirm that it is bad. Good luck
