I have an 89 Town car which is slightly lower at the back end.

When the car has been sitting for awhile the pump motor comes on once I
turn the key to start it.It just seems lower in the back at times and was
wondering what could be needed to repair it.

Have the air ride suspension checked the bags leak as they age 31 years their do for replacement.

Thanks for replying to my question.Now would be the time to replace them if necessary before they blow entirely.This has happened before to me on my 90 Mark7 but that a story that I want to forget Thanks again.
