OBD1 connectors

Asked by Johnnie Apr 16, 2019 at 10:48 PM about the 1989 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: General

I have a 1989 Lincoln Town Car (5.0). I purchased an 3145 Innova code reader to retrieve to codes. I found out that my car doesn't have the smaller plug. I've traced the wires all the way to the fire wall because I thought maybe it had broken off. Should there be a smaller plug and if so what can I do to correct this.
