I'm trying to fix my car and it won't start I got
the exceseries that turns on but it won't
start. I changed the starter n now I'm
looking at the neutral safety switch n the
ignition switch. Can someone tell me where
they are and how to change them please n

are you sure the battery is good, I've had cars that accessories light up but nothing when i turned the key, as those are easily ran with little juice.

also disconnect the neg battery cable pump brakes to empty memory and let it sit for 15 minutes then hook up battery and give it another go

get a multi-meter and test at the ignition coil....have a pal turn the key and see if the 12 volts is present there~ this way if there is no juice there would look to the starter switch...and track the path to where the 12 volts originates~ probably the starter switch...but you gotta test to see if the voltage is at the cindiloo says NEW battery...they stop taking a charge 10 percent per year~ 1987 probably..should be on it's third battery by now...test it for 12.5 volts...replace that one if it's not koash~
