what does the solenoid valve do on a 93 stealth es?

no EGR valve on car, car sputters until warmed up. had new temp sensor, IAC mass air sensor and throttle position sensor. no vacuum leaks noticeable

EGR = exhaust gas recirculation,, it takes some of the exhaust gases and recirculates them to your intake to raise the intake temps til the car gets to running temp and then it serves to eliminate noxious gases on the exhaust,,, get a new EGR already and your car will get better gas mileage and all around run better and you wont have stalling problems when your car is cold,

well I thought that you said it didn't have one on it ,, maybe they did an EGR delete?
