If you have the automatic, it's the CD4E transmission , which doesn't have a serviceable trans filter. It is internal to the trans, and only changed when rebuilding it. The trans you have has a plug on the bottom of the pan, use a 3/8" socket wrench to remove, 4qts should drain out. Replace the plug, add some thread sealer first. Then add 4qts via the dipstick tube. You can repeat this till the fluid is nice and red.
