my car sputters an hesitate to pick up its speed

Fuel pumps usually just go out. They don't usually give you a sign. It could deff be the coil pack especially if every time you try to go fast your check engine like keeps blinking and it sputter like catches for a min then let's catches for a min then let's go.

Have your OBD codes read at an AutoParts store for free. Most likely a coil, as Hotrod333 mentions especially if doing it under load.

If the car is vibrating when stationary, it could be the coil
