how to fix a 1989 ford probe it quits after 20 mins

it starts fine then after 20min it quits but restarts again and quits again

I'd say it might be the ignition control module. One of the symptoms of a failing module is once the car heats up you lose power, cools down, your fine again.

Part can be expensive, have it diagnosed before replacing.

Did u ever get your car fixed. Sounds like what ours is doing Replaced the distributor and still doing it
