Diagnostics show evap system fail

Diagnostics show evap system problem,starts sluggish gauges acting odd,
my ford screen going on and off rear camera stopped working , mechanic
says diagnostics showing all kinds of problems like transmission,told me
need to bring to ford ,any ideas truck was running great

Evap system can be damaged if the gas tank is overfilled to force feed fuel into the tank. My owners manual states NOT to continue to fill tank after pump nozzle clicks off the first time. Liquid gasoline can be forced into the vapor lines going to the canister. The engine will run an EVAP test while driving, pulling a vacuum on the tank to ensure there are no leaks. Check your owners manual. Since EVAP is a pollution control device warranty may cover it for additional years.
