I have a 2001 f150 with a 4.6l can anyone tell me the correct procedure to purge the air
out of the system. thanks
I take it you are speaking of the radiator system, correct? Drain radiator. fill with coolant. Start engine. Be patient. The engine will have to obtain operating temp for the thermostat to open. The engine will burp meaning more coolant is entering the engine and air escaping. keep refilling up to the "full when hot" line.
