ford bronco II clutch pedal went to the floor,where is the hydarulic reservoir for this?

It is right next to the brake master cylinder, attached to the firewall, most of them are the semitransparent plastic type. Make sure you remove the rubber sealing boot before you try to refill it.

TYVM, now i've been told the problem lies with the "slave"????

That is a common problem, do you have the external slave or the internal slave? If you have the internal you might as well do a clutch while your there.

whatever kind that would cost $700 and a teardown of everything includign transmission and carpet--according to the dealership guys.

Dealership? They are always too high, I would suggest an independent Auto repair if you are having this done and not doing it yourself.

it is my brother/sister-in-laws vehicle,i was jsut he lucky one to be driving it at the time. hopefully he and my son can do the labor on it , since they have mechanical experience.i was on a run to the store for needed items for the '89 lincoln at the time...ty for your honest help,its appreciated!
