my car will go into all gears while car is off easily, but when started it is almost impossible to get into gear, when trying reverse it will grind.. Is this a clutch issue?

sounds like a clutch or clutch cable issue, check for movement in the shift fork when you press the clutch. you can see it on top of the trans.

Found out that it is the throw out bearing. ordered a clutch kit, just waiting for the weekend to get to work. thanks for the reply.
