95 dodge dakota wont take off in 1

So my 95 dakota will not take off in first gear. I can put it in 1 and it feels like its got a
break on but still wants to go. What is going on here? it will take off in second gear and
drive all day but wont go into 1st great no matter what i do?

Try replacing your speed sensor.
