96 Dodge Dakota 5.2l 4WD - Stalls

Asked by Kathy Nov 19, 2019 at 01:07 AM about the 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 96 Dodge Dakota 5.2l 4WD was having issues with stalling, but would start back up. After a while, it would not start right away. Now it will start up, but as soon as I shift into Drive, it stalls again. It is fine if I shift into reverse or neutral, just stalls going into drive. They had it up on the rack, and it did not stall when shifting into drive, but as soon as they put it on the ground, it stalled out. Already replaced the ECM, fuel filter, cam shaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, Ignition coil. What could be causing the stalling at this point?
