Does engine size matter when you turn on the ac? Cause I been told the bigger the engine is the less the mpg is effect by ac on
It is more of avaliabe power from an engine rather that engine size, say you have a 350CID engine that makes 275hp, and a 350CID engine that makes 350hp, you will notice a larger power draw on the 275 than on the 350. So it will take more fuel to run the compressor on a lesser powered engine than the larger one, but the drawback is it will take more fuel to run the larger powered engine initially.
Modern day A/C units virtually do not effect fuel mileage.
