have a 6 cylinder 1987 jeep wrangler that is hard to start and stalls often (when letting off accelerator - especially when going down hill). had carb rebuilt 1000 miles back but it did not help. current milrage is 38,000
check your vacuum if you have already had the carb tuned... also your idle may need to be re adjusted
THATS REALLY LOW MILES, WAS VEHICLE STORED FOR A LONG PERIOD? SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE AN OBSTRUCTION BETWEEN CARB AND FUEL TANK.IF IT WAS JUST PARKED AND NOT STORED RIGHT I SAY FUEL FILTER. OR WATER IN GAS,TRY A CAN OF DRY GAS ,THAT'S LEAST EXPENCIVE WAY.
