No heater controls

Just had a battery installed and now
the radio and climate controls do not
work. Heater is blowing hot air pit off
the vents and I cannot change settings
or turn it off. It feels like an oven.
Someone please help.

It sounds like you need to reset the system. I had this happen a year or so ago. Basically you need to do a hard reset to your computer. I would call the dealer and ask them or search online. It isnt hard to do and it should fix your issue.

That done the trick. You disconnect the positive cable from the battery insert your key and turn the key three times as if you were starting the car. Reconnect the positve cable. Follow the prompts on the display and then reprogram all of your personal settings.

I have the pushbutton start and the same thing happened to me. Is it the same procedure?

I have a 2016 Limited with push button and I experienced the same thing when my battery died. I charged the battery and made it to the parts store who changed it out. Even though the connections were disconnected during installation the same issues with heater/radio. The installer used a memory saver so as not to lose settings so maybe this stopped a reset? When I got home I disconnected the positive terminal, pushed the start button 3 times - which may or may not had any effect, then reconnected terminal. Everything went back to normal! Hope this helps.
