Hi everyone, I have a 2013 Ford Edge SEL AWD and the passenger side visor light wont turn off. This is a new problem that just started. I'm worried that it will drain my battery or cause a fire.

All newer vehicles have an automatic shut off for all lights. So that light shouldn't run your battery dead. If your Edge has less than 36,000 miles it can be fixed under warranty for free.

Thank you! I actually got it to shut off by smacking the shit out of it. As you can tell I don't know much about cars. I will take it to the dealer this week.

No problem. You made me laugh out loud today thank you for that.

Ah, my chaos does tend to make people laugh. I was seriously panicking all day about that stupid light. The gas pan cracked a few months after I bought it, the door handle broke too... I have a love/hate relationship with my car.

Oh geez really on a 2013? Sorry to hear that.
