2012 optima ck engin light on replaced battery ran fine no light back on and is loosing power

When you disconnect a battery, it resets the OBDII monitor that triggers the Check Engine Light when there's a problem. As you continue to drive it when the problem happens enough times it will set an error code and turn the light back on.
