Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is probably a few problems with my 06 Ody right sliding door, here are the symptoms:
- It is completely unresponsive to the electronic opening or closing (both the remote and dash switch).  It doesn't even try to open or close when the button is pushed.
-It is really really hard to open and close manually. (I think this is probably the rollers).
-When closing it manually the closing latch doesn't pull the door in and it's not possible to fully close it by pushing on it. When closed as best as possible the rear of the door is still sticking out ≈ 3/16" from the rest of the car (it's not actually closed).
-When driving in this condition the door warning beep is constantly on.
-When I hook a 12V battery to the door closing latch motor it will then function and suck the door in, but the rear of the door still sticks out a little bit from the rest of the car. (it wasn't sucked in as much as the left door.
-So (just to clarify) the door closing latch does work when power is directly connected to it.
-I removed the door latch mechanism and took it apart, used penetrating oil over all the moving parts and everything seems to work.

The part that is really getting me is the fact that doesn't close all the way, even if I push on it as hard as possible, and that the latch mechanism isn't reacting to any inputs from the car, or when closing the door in manual mode.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
