Honda Odyssey 2008 front end cluncking noise.

Asked by GuruTZ9MT Jun 11, 2018 at 10:11 PM about the 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L FWD with DVD and Navigation

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey that has 198,000
miles on it and runs great. Timing belt was just
changed on it at 195,000 miles. When it was taken
in to get an oil change my mechanic said the
stabilizing links are rattling. So asked him to change
them. Right after they were changed I noticed a
noticeable cluncking noise coming from the front
end. The mechanic drove the car and said it was
the struts that need to be changed. I am confused
as to why all of the sudden the noise is there after
changing the links. Any help would be appreciated..
