I have 26% oil available in my 2012 Chevrolet Suburban at the moment. Is that sufficient for a trip of 1500 miles? I am trying to decide if I need to take the time to get the oil changed before I go.

What is the correlation between how many miles driven and how much motor
oil in percentage you use for a 2012 Chevy Suburban?

That number is set by where you have the oil change interval set in the menu items of the instrument cluster, I have mine set at 3000 miles, so if yours is also set for 3000 miles then you do not have enough for a trip of that size without stopping and having the oil changed on your trip. If it was me I would go ahead and have it serviced before the trip, that you start out with fresh oils and a clean filter.

I am actually not sure where mine is set, but thank you for taking the time to answer, I will definitely be safe and change before I go!
