Ford Edge 2012 heat

Asked by GuruWSXD6 Feb 13, 2020 at 06:57 PM about the 2012 Ford Edge Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 Ford Edge with a tough screen sync.
My heater is not blowing out. The air also does not
blow out anything. Sometimes when I’m driving the
vents will be hot but that’s about it. When I start my
car in the morning, after it has been sitting all night,
the heat works for up to 30 min. I’ve tried replacing
the blower motor and another part. Still doesn’t
work. I’ve noticed when the heat does work, my
ambient lighting works as well. When it doesn’t
work my ambient lighting doesn’t. I feel like it may
be a computer problem. Has anyone had this
problem before? I live in Wisconsin and it’s very
cold here please help!

Hello this is funny because I'm going through the same thing. My ambient lighting blinks on and off and when I turn on the heat or a/c it blows then stops and does that for a period of time before the heat or air doesn't blow. I'm not sure if it's a computer thing but definitely a issue. When I find out what's going on I'll definitely reach out to you and let you know

Im suppose to be taking my car in Thursday for a scan. If I find anything out first, I’ll let you know too!
