Grinding Sound

My Dodge is making a grinding noise. She only has
43,000 miles on her. No check engine light is on!
I've had the engine mounts changed and it worked
for awhile, but now it's back. Not sure what's
wrong! I took her back to the doc and now I'm
looking at a $3,000 bill. He's saying it's something
with the trans. I don't get it, she shifts fine. Any
ideas out there? I could really use the HELP!

grinding when idling ? when driving ? scan for codes even if the light ain't on , try another mechanic
