This is a big issue with the magnum, that lightling bolt a struck a lot of them, and is normally the throttle body,as you have already replaced,i see you have replaced, the ECM all so,and has not fixed, your issue,i can say this, one of my buddy,s went through the same issue, replaced a number of thing,s and to no avail fixed the problem, the last thing he did was replace the engine wiring harness, and the lighting did not strike anymore,i think it is and issue with the harness,he found wire,s cooked together in it when removed it,i think a lot of the magnum,s have this issue, and dodge should have to be the one fixing it.

This is finicky engine. Everything has to be just right. If it senses any carbon build up especially at idle speed it will shut down. Low octane gas will leave more deposits than others. The answer after three years of agravation worked out to be really simple. A higher octane gas and a decarbonizer additive added to the gas tank. I feel like a guru.

I have a 2007 Dodge magnum 2.7l. I to had the red lightning bolt flashing I changed the throttle body as well as the pedal and I continued to have the same problem. my car was stuck in limp mode and I was unable to accelerate. I searched countless forums to see what could be the problem. Well first before I had this problem I had gotten a tune up done and a crank shaft position sensor and cam shaft sensor installed. Thinking that would solve the problem because thats what the computer was reading, it was given off a code pertaining to the throttle body and the pedal as well as those sensors. After replacing them I continued to get the red lightning bolt flashing and I still had the same problem which was so frustrating . Well after all the money I spent trying to figure out the problem. My mechanic found that when replacing the crankshaft sensor ,the pig tail wire was touching near the crankshaft sensor. The wires was exposed twisted and touching...After replacing the wiring my car was back to normal running like a champ. I’m so relieved and happy to share my success story. Because I know how it is when your transportation breaks down. So hopefully this help.

I have a 05 Magnum and had to replace a coil pack. After removing the intake manifold and replacing the coil pack and reinstalling I test drove it and im mediately got a lightning bolt light on the dash. A blue gasket seal on the EGR tube had fallen out during the process. I replaced the gasket which was under $4 and no more light....car runs great!
